I revived the sweater vest

No sooner had I started my new job in December than the office was positively overrun with sweater vests. The culprit?

Obviously, if you know me at all (which you don't), the offending party was me.

I think more 20-somethings should wear sweater vests. They keep the core warm and let the arms breathe. They are old fashioned, yes, but like many trends they have come full circle and I declare them retro cool again. The female equivalent is usually made from thinner materials, and thus does little in the way of warmth procurement, but they look great nonetheless and I recommend them for the fairer sex as well.

Today I wear a gray Houndstooth sweater vest over a button down striped shirt. I feel amazing.

Free pro tip: Keep it simple, stupid. No wild Christmas patterns or reindeer. Argyle is as far as you can go, but treat it like booze: moderation is key.
